“One of the things I’ve been able to do in the past year is understand that if my focus is ‘how do I keep everybody here,’ then I’m missing the point,” explains Coleman. “If the people in the workforce today are all job-hoppers, then that means they want to be well-compensated for what they’re doing, be engaged, have fun at work, and create and build and contribute. So my mindset should be, ‘I want to hire all of those people,’ and whether they stay for 2 or 20 years, it’s still good to have that creative asset for as long as you have it.”
